Robert Boute is Professor of Operations Management at Vlerick Business School and KU Leuven, Belgium and visiting professor in the Executive MBA program at Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). He received his Ph.D. from KU Leuven, Belgium. He was named one of the 40 best professors under 40 by Poets & Quants in 2016, and was laureate of the 2017 Franz Edelman Award for Achievement in Operations Research and Management Sciences. Professor Boute has worked with a variety of companies on supply chain management, logistics and maintenance optimization.
